Lukoil’s oil production at Pyakyakha OGCF in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District has exceeded 1 m t, with gas production exceeding 1.3 bcm.

At present, Lukoil operates 57 oil and 25 gas wells at Pyakyakha. The average rate of yield exceeds 70 tpd. The average daily production of gas is 300 k cbm. A total of 4 k tpd of crude and condensate, as well as 9 m cbm of gas are produced at the field daily.

It is projected for this year to develop 8 cluster pads at the field, 5 which are oil, and 3 – gas. According to the company’s plans, 26 operating oil wells will be launched, 19 of which are drain-hole, 5 – horizontal, 2 – directional, and 16 are reservoir pressure maintenance system wells. New cluster pads will be linked by a pipeline network with overall length as of 30 km.

Pyakyakhka oil and gas condensate field on Yamal was commissioned together with Zapolyarye-Purpe main. Currently, the construction of infrastructural facilities are underway, accompanied by installation activities at O&G treatment and condensate de-ethanization and stabilisation unit. The drilling of oil and gas wells is also at full swing.

Pyakyakha is one of the most promising Bolshekhet valley’s fields in the Tazovsky area.

Lukoil had earlier promised to finance the social and economic infrastructure of Yamal for a total amount of 200m RUB.
